The Purifil Prefilled Water Syringe is specifically designed to fill latex and silicon Foley indwelling Catheter balloons in a single step. The syringe's luer slip is inserted into the catheter balloon port directly to enable filling. The syringe is graduated allowing the clinician to measure the amount of sterile water that is to be filled from the syringe, usually 5ml to 10mL to fill the balloon.
